On Sunday, all roads will head to civo stadium as Blantyre Zero welcomes DD Sunshine on the final day of the 2022 FAM National Women's Championship as both sides strive to take the throne.

With much attention to the Sunday's final, Andrew "Aluki" Chikhosi’s women sit above their foe as far as scoring goals is concerned in this campaign.

As for the red and whites, they find themselves in the final after a dramatic 6-5 win in a shoot-out at Mpira stadium Lilongwe outfit Ascent Academy. It’s fair to say that DD sunshine with no mercy thrashed Skippers 4-0.

Despite seeing the Palestinian's share of possession and  12 attempts in their semifinal, Maggie’s side provides missions towards Sunday's final.

Interestingly,  Blantyre Zero and DD Sunshine have both registered no loss and the scoring boots have been phenomenal this season. However, the Lilongwe giant has conceded only one against CY Sister while the Blantyre side conceded two goals from four outings.

DD Sunshine head into Sunday’s clash with a better goal difference of plus 13 than their enemies who have plus 2, having claimed a couple of vitally important goals in the last five matches.

When you look at the bigger picture, however, both sides have set themselves up for a positive end to the campaign.

Head-to-head: DD Sunshine claimed a 1-0 win back in 2020 in Blantyre, in the final of the Presidential championship.

The first meeting between DD Sunshine and Blantyre has not produced over 1.5 goals, while both teams have been too shy on the goal on that occasion.

DD's duo of Carolyn Mathyola and Gladys Banda will have to fight for the top goal scorer within DD's camp as they have minimal chances to beat CY's captain Vitumbiko Mkandawire who have 11 goals, a combined figure of goals for Carolyn and Glady respectively.
