The defending champions of 7.5 Million Kwacha Powerstart Tayale Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve fc are through to the semi-final of this year's competition following a 1-0 win over Bangwe All-Stars, on Saturday afternoon at Kamuzu stadium.

The rivals did not produce much anticipation in Saturday's quarter-final with only one goal produced.

The loan goal from Ongani Kaponya in the first half was enough to secure Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve a semi-final spot.

The results mean that Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve will face either Destiny fc or Changalume Barracks fc in the Semi-Final.

However, Mangochi-based side MDF Marine will face Bangula Hammers at Balaka Stadium on  Sunday in another quarterfinal and the winner will face Zingwangwa United in the semifinal.

6 teams remaining in this year's 7.5 Million Kwacha Powerstart top 8 tayale.
