Blantyre Zero is looking to unsettle Ascent Academy while DD Sunshine wants to upset fellow central region side Skipper.
DD Sunshine and Ascent Academy will look to take a significant step toward the inaugural FAM NATIONAL WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP final as they are expected to play their semi-final ties at home and away to Blantyre and Lilongwe opponents Blantyre and Skippers respectively.
The last time DD Sunshine and Skipper met, DD produced subsequent home and away wins in last season's Central region women's football league against their central region opponents.
Skippers, of course, have not managed to "do it" yet, though they finished second in their group behind Blantyre zero with 1 point, managed to win two and lose one.
However, they are in ominous form; they demolished Ntopwa 2-0 and Moyale 5-2 and have conceded three goals in three games this season.
Four teams are looking to set a new record in the country in clinching the first women's championship.
With last season's 100 percent records Blantyre Zero and DD sunshine finished top of groups A and B respectively hoping to maintain to their unbeaten run.
The first semifinal will involve Blantyre Zero hosting Ascent Academy while DD sunshine will date Skippers.
