Nyasa Big Bullets have displaced Blue Eagles on top of the TNM Super League table after beating high-spirited Dedza Dynamos 1-0 at Balaka Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Captain Chimwemwe Idana netted the solidarity goal for the people's team in the first half before the host controlled the second half and denied a goal in the 64th minute.

Coach for Bullets, Callisto Pasuwa conceded that his charges were poor in the second half just as in the Blue Eagles draw but they will sort it out at training.

"We played a side that we have never played with, they are  a good side as we were on the second foot in the second half but we will go back to training and sort out this." Said Pasuwa.

Meanwhile, his counterpart, Dan Dzinkambani thanked his boys for the performance but blamed the officiation.

"I can not say we did not play well, we did our part and controlled the game in the second half, we were denied a goal, maybe the officiation panel can explain. We lost in the first half maybe players feared names but we grew into the game, we will use that spirit in the coming games." Dzinkambani highlighted.

The people's team began well with Patrick Mwaungulu and Idana combining well but missing a couple of chances before the captain put the Bullets ahead in the 26th minute.

Bullets replaced Hassan Kajoke with Stanley Billiati before the start of the second half and Lanjesi Nkhoma was denied by Mwakasinga in the 54th minute.

Dynamos thought they have leveled after Charles Chipala headed into the goal but it was ruled out for offside.

Both teams made changes but they could not open their goals and 90 minutes proved that the Bullets will go home with maximum points.

The people's team will stay top with 10 points from four games, the same points as Blue Eagles which has dropped down to the second. Dynamos will stay in the top four with 7 points from four games.
