The Blantyre outfit Blantyre Zero beat DD Sunshine 3-1 in the first FAM National Women's Championship at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe on Sunday afternoon.
Two first-half goals from Mary Chabvinda and Vanessa Chikupira's penalty were enough to switch off the twinkling in the capital and claimed the title.

Linda Kasenda scored a brace in the first half whereas Carolyn Govani scored for Ascent.
However, CY sisters captain Vitumbiko Mkandawire has won the golden boot award with 11 goals 4 goals above Rose Kabzere and Linda Kasenda.
