Northern Region Football Association (NRFA) says they are ready for the commencement of the 2022 football season on the 16th of April, 2022.

NRFA General Secretary Masiya Nyasulu has confirmed the development with Starsport HD.

The kick-off of 2022 10 million kwacha Inno Build Simso northern region football top division will take place at Iponga group in Karonga district.

Nyasulu highlighted that Saturday's launch will involve teams from cluster 1, Iponga Football Club, and Baka city football club.

"We have 19 teams registered so far and we expect to have 24 teams in our top division, as you acknowledged we have four clusters" He added.

With days to go, NRFA has not received the paying affiliation fee from Chizumula and Likoma but the teams have assured the association that they will take part in this year's campaign.

The events will be spiced up by the match involving lponga fc and Baka city from 2:30.

Here are the games to be played on week one of the INNO BUILD SIMSO LEAGUE.
