Northern region newly-promoted side Rumphi United coach  Gilbert Chirwa has resigned from his position with at the club.

Rumphi United have anchored the bottom position on the standing following their poor start of the campaign, with three losses in a low.

Chirwa resigned due to, personal reasons, but he did disclose them. Told one of the media.

Former Mzuzu Warriors mentor was suspended at the club for two weeks anticipated to poor performance as the team lost 2-0 at home to fellow newbies Dedza before the 1-0 defeat to Silver and 2-0 loss to Eagles.

Following the resignation of Gilbert Chirwa the club has partnered ways with two coaches (Christopher Nyambose) in less than three months.
