On Saturday, Kalisto Pasuwa's side is the road in search of three points against the highly flying Blue Eagles at Nankhaka stadium in Lilongwe.

It is too early to say that the Eagles are set for the title challenge but the battle between the two will determine who will contest for the league this season.

Now in possession of the squad, Elijah Kananji's side signed several notable players including Former Nyasa Big Bullets defender Sankhani Mkamdawire and Silver Strikers goalie Brighton Munthali while Nyasa Big Bullets are full with the youthful team, which means the game will be Experience vs skill.

The two teams are coming from a win in their previous fixtures whereby Nyasa Big Bullets beat Ekwendeni Hammers 3-1 at Kamuzu Stadium while Blue Eagles overcome Moyale barracks 1-0 at Mzuzu stadium.

With three points between them, Blue Eagles are looking like the favorite this weekend speculating that they have managed to collect nine points from 3 games and are on top of the standings. While the people's team has played Two games scoring 5 goals conceded 2 and are in position four with six points.

The Nomads are coming from a goalless draw against Waka Waka Mighty Tigers at chiwembe on Sunday, while moyale barracks went down 1-0 at home with Blue Eagles.

Former Flames coach Edington Ng'onamo and Orlando Pirates  Joseph Kamwendo were handed the unenviable task of picking up the pieces after Bob Mpinganjira's exit at Lali Ruban road amid the start of the season and the veterans have made a noticeable impact on the hornet's defensive and striking resilience.

Four points in the bag from three games, win one, lose one, and draw Wanderers will face Moyale barracks who possess 3 points against Civil service United in their backyard a fortnight ago.

The Mzuzu based soldiers will have to bounce back from the defeat when they welcome Mighty Wanderers this Saturday.

Karonga United vs Silver Strikers

The last visit for Silver Strikers at Karonga Stadium was controversial following the misconduct that happened during the Super League game between the two sides.

This week's fixture between the bankers and Karonga will be a game to watch as both teams will reap to get three following awful starts for the season.

Two points separate the two, Karonga United will take the match into the history book if they beat the immigrants at home.

In recent meetings between the two Silver has the better head to head than Karonga.

The bankers collected 4 points from three games scoring three conceding two goals and are facing stragglers karonga United who have zero wins in their last three matches drew two and one loss and they occupied twelve positions.

Rumphi United vs Mighty Waka Waka Tigers
1430hrs KO
Venue: Rumphi Stadium.

Something must give on Saturday afternoon at the Rumphi Stadium as the 16th place host 5th place in the top-flight league.

The new boys in town had a wasteful start to the campaign after losing their three opening fixtures.

But after such an impressive start to the season for the Kau Kau boys, with the coming of their new partner Tigers have seemed to revive their rhythm following 2 draws and one win.

However, defensive weaknesses have been unearthed in the team for Rumphi United resulting resignation of the coach.

The host has no goal this season but has an expected goals value of 5 the biggest negative in the competition this term.

Not thankfully for them, they meet a Blantyre side who look even more dangerous in the present moment amid their first three opening matches.

Rumphi look nailed on for relegation having lost three matches in the league.

 Sable Farming vs Red Lions
1430hrs
 Mpira Stadium.

Another game with huge significance at both ends of the table, the Fourth from the bottom Sable will host third-place Red Lions on Saturday afternoon.

Joseph Malazani's side has been up against them all the years in the lower division and now this is their first meeting in the top tier.

After taking two points from their first three matches MaSable in the league this season, Red Lions has taken seven points from their subsequent 9 in the campaign.

However, Mike Kumanga's side will not be taking this fixture lightly given the potential consequences for title contenders.
