Nyasa big bullets striker Babatunde adepojo has won the Airtel top 8 seasons 4 player of the tournament and received 500,000.00 Malawi kwacha.
The Nigerian won double from the tournament as he won the top goalscorer ribbon by scoring nine goals last season.
This means the striker has received 1 million kwacha from two-section of the top goal scorer and player of the tournament.
Former Mighty Wanderers striker beat the silver striker's Stain Davie and Zebulon Kalima and won player of the tournament prize.
Adepojo has become the first foreign player to win a major award in the country.
However, Malawi Broadcasting Corporation radio commenter Steve Liwewe won the best radio commenter award while Timven's Innocent Chitime comes second.
In other categories, National Publication Limited duo Garry Chirwa and Solomon Manda won in the print section, while Mwakhele kaliyande comes above Frank Kandu in the best radio journalist prize.
