TNM Super League continues to produce stunning results as some big teams failed to register wins in their encounter against what are called small teams on paper.

Newly promoted Sable Farming beat Red Lions by two goals to nil through Emmanuel Lino's 19th-minute opener and Christopher Gototo scoring in the 90th minute.

Another upset fell in the hands of the Mighty Wakawaka Tigers when the anyamata akumpanda were beaten by Rumphi United in an interesting encounter by three goals to nil, Trouble Kajani scoring twice in the 25th and 32nd minute and Gerald Ngwira burying the with a penalty in the 75th minute.

League leaders Blue Eagles settled for a one-all draw against Nyasa Big Bullets, John Malidadi Jnr opened the scoring in the 31st minute for the Lilongwe outfit before Babatunde Adepoju made no mistake from the spot-kick in the 36th minute.

Newly signed Chiukepo Msowoya made sure that Mighty Wanderers take home three points with a beautiful goal in the 33rd minute as the Lali Lubani boys saw off Moyale Barracks.

The in-form Chawanagwa Kaonga and Nickson Mwase were a marvel to watch as they scored one each for Silver Strikers making it two goals to nil as Northern-based Karonga United went without a point.

On Sunday, 2016 super league champions Kamuzu Barack FC beat TN stars 2 -0 at Kasungu stadium.

Meanwhile, the match between Civo United and Mafco ended in a stalemate at the soccer cathedral Civo stadium in Lilongwe.

John Dambuleni's goal and Ernest Kankhobwe's own goal were enough for the match as both teams went home with 1 point.

Away in Mzuzu, Ekwenden Hammers and Mighty Tigers played out to a goalless draw at Mzuzu stadium.

It seems that teams have come more prepared in the league and any mistake brings the unexpected.
